I've always preferred the term "silhouette" to "plain" because it describes what was done to the image much better. I don't know why PSA messes up so readily on these because they really are quite distinctive ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ETA: I recently bought this photo at auction because it reminded me of the card:
