Retrosheet is linked to this board, you can find it under "vintage links" and then "historical sites." You can bring up the box score of any game, and if I remember correctly, you can also find a summary. It's not exactly like a next day newspaper source, but since you don't even have to leave Net54 to find it, it's worth a try.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Newspaper.com seems to be the easiest to use. I am able to pull up just about anything I search for .
