Here is a '56 Topps Mantle PSA 8. - They paid $8k for it. Bought with the Lexus1584 ID. Current bid $5711.

Yea...very odd....the winning bidder never paid....they jacked it up to a super high price with no bites....now it's in Candiman's auction.

With many people using VCP and the new psa auction tool - if eBay auctions close with artificially inflated prices it could make it look like the price for any particular card is skewing up and "encourage" a current bidder to consider bidding more than they otherwise would.
