No info on Schmees. Looks like he died in 1998 and there were 0 requests in the database.

Noted that Groat was scheduled to appear at the SABR Annual Convention held in Pittsburgh last weekend, however had to be replaced due to illness.

Hi Bill, so the card never came back, and I wrote to Mr Groat. He told me that was NEVER his addeess.

So thanks a lot, please try not to "help" anyone in the future. I'm hoping I can write to these people and get my 1952 topps psa 6 $600 card back, if nothing else

The success rate according to SCF is around 97% and it looks like 2 weeks is the turnaround time.

The address Steve posted is really the only one listed for him.

Not sure what SCN is? But SCF is completely free and really good - you need to request a membership but well worth it.

My apologies however that is the address listed in Jack Smalling's most recent book (Volume 19).....I wrote him successfully a year or so ago & I would have used the Smalling address that would have been listed in the edition in print at the time (which I no longer own).

After losing a 1952 high number psa 6, not really interested anymore. Thanks for the tip though!
