Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant to say cardboard. There are 2 different white stocks that the cards were printed on.

In 54 and again in 55 there were uncut promotional sheets of Topps cards inserted into a couple of the early spring Sports Illustrated editions (as noted in a previous post by Chris Counts). The card stock differed from the standard issue - much, much thinner. In 55 the 8 players on the first inserted sheet were Jablonski, Rhodes, Schell, Moon, Spahn, Spooner, Groat, and Banks. The second sheet had Portocarrero, Rosen, Keegan, Smith, Fain, Sullivan, Turley, and Seivers. So, if yours that differ are from this list of 16, are thinner, and perhaps appear hand-cut...
