Football cover question
I'm pretty sure this is correct, but can anyone confirm that these envelopes were used to mail game tickets?

Yes, Its from the lesser Academy (Go Army!) in order to mail their season tickets.

Great item! Looks to be from 1937.
On a side note...my grandfather, a WWI vet, was a pipefitter who helped build that boat (the U.S.S Brooklyn) in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Thanks!
I thought they were for mailing tickets. I don't recall seeing one that wasn't registered. This one was mailed Nov 15, and got to Brooklyn the next day. (Registered get the dates on the back. ) |
