It seems like it Depends on the Grader. I have seen Off Center Cards Graded a Few Grades Down or the Legit Grade with OC Qualifier. I have seen Some Trimmed Cards Graded Authentic and Some Do Not Get Slabbed. I read somewhere you can Request it to be Slabbed Authentic on the Submission Form. Can I send it in and Request it as a Higher Grade with a Qualifier on the Submission Form too? Last edited by that T206 Guy; 06-21-2018 at 04:08 PM. |

This is the kicker. It looks like there's some paper loss. It that case it won't grade any higher. It is a really nice card though.

Half the word Brooklyn is gone. Paper loss. Not something they use a qualifier for.

A 2 it is then - i think this definitely qualifies as PWCC-HE, and not just PQ

It's a Purple Sticker 2 if I have ever seen one!! Wait, are there different versions of the Purple Sticker yet?

The top left corner is dinged, and the bottom left and top right have minor touches. Strictly from a corner perspective, it's a 7.5-8.

You can't send this to PSA - you'll get square corners instead of rounded ones!!!!

PWCC is a seller on eBay (Pre-War Card Collector) aka Brent Huigens, who has started denoting "High End" cards - ones that look amazing for the grade - as either HE or PQ: Premium Quality.
The Purple Label company is also doing the same thing, basically, saying that cards that look awesome for the grade will also get a pretty sticker attached to the slab. Most collectors think those are fads, but some people are paying extra for them. Both PWCC and Purple Label company (board member Lowpopper) are now advertisers here on Net54.
