Looks to be from the 1960s based on the 2 in 125 being directly over the & sign

Hi thanks for your opinion, what about the TRADE MARK REG which I read was not put on the bats after 1950 and the G79 ,thanks

Trade mark reg was 1940s mark. However the font and brand mark on your bat is not correct for that period .

Weren't there a bunch of replica bats made in the 80s and 90s for autograph signings at shows for various players? Could this be one of those?

I have no idea , bat really looks to good to be 70 years old and I do live in the Detroit area and that is where he played, just seems odd Louisville Slugger setting up the cutter for such an exact bat , down to the trade mark differences and the G79 on the knob
