Living 5 minutes away - always a plus. Brought my 12 year old son this time. His 2nd National but first since he was 8. Amazing difference. This show was all about him. The eye candy etc would've kept me entertained for days but he wanted the cheap stuff. Loved the 50 cents or $1 boxes. Especially those divided into teams. We spent hours sifting through boxes finding cards. The best moments were my son finding Trout (chrome, glossy, platinum whatever), Indians stars and a retro Joe Jackson (he identified it - not me). Mission accomplished. At the end, we spent $50 inside and left with more than $50 in memories.

Jeez, talk about beautiful sentiment. I don't think there's a dry eye left on the board.
