I regret ones I didn't buy much more than I regret ones I sold that, in hindsight, I should have kept.

Sold a stack of Jordan rookies back in the day for 20 bucks a pop.

I probably don't regret that deal as much as the guy who traded me that stack of Jordan Rookies and a big pile of other 1986 Fleer Basketball Stars and Rookies for a stack of 50's-60's Washington Redskins football cards. I mean they were stars, but they aren't worth much more now, then they were back in the late 80's.

I hope he still has those Redskins. I hear that Eddie LeBaron is about to hit the roof.

This card right here!

Don't know what I was thinking, other than $460 dollars U.S. was a lot of money and money I could put towards my 52 Topps collection, but once I finally inquired about it then finding out he sold it after waiting for me to make up my mind for a couple of months, I immediately regretted not acting sooner!

This same seller also had a very nice, centered, #276 Jim Wilson in his auction that I had saved in my watch list but forgot about it.

It went for a whopping $14 dollars and would have easily graded a 6, imo.

Live and learn as they say.

My only big regret in the hobby is selling my 1948 leaf Larry Doby PSA 2 that was perfectly centered with good focus. I sold it at a time that I needed the money for other things in life.

Default Thanks for the memories....

Back in the day, I sold 3 mint cards to help pay for a wedding ring for my first wife.

The cards were a 1957 Topps Ted Williams, Frank Robinson, and a beauty of a 1969 Topps Reggie Jackson.

So I don't have the cards anymore, neither do I have the wife or the ring.....should have just kept the cards as I enjoyed them more.

Good stuff. Sorry if I brought back any bad memories.

Stack of Jordans @ $20 ea... Wow.

Speaking of Jordans and cards you regret not buying more than the ones you sold... When I was about 13 I was at a show with my dad and I really wanted to buy a nice looking Fleer Jordan RC for $100. For me at the time, that was ten weeks savings from mowing the lawn. He talked me out of spending so much on one card so I bought two boxes and some loose packs of early 90s junk. To this day I tell myself it might have been a counterfeit to feel better about it.

yup, me too. And all 3 were cards that would've finished a set I never ended up finishing

'33 Goudey Lajoie PSA 3, for $10k. Not sure if this would've finished '33 or '34

'15 CJ Jackson in PSA 3, for $5k.
'52 Topps Mantle in PSA 3, for $5k.

Just realized all 3 were PSA 3's, and I was holding out for a better version. Better I shouldn't have been a condition whore and used these to upgrade from. Lesson learned.
