Much respect for her as an actress. Only modern actress that can compare t other greats. I.E. Betty Davis, Joan Crawford, Ida Lupino etc.

But what really impressed me was her love for John Cazale (Fredo, Godfather)
If you've never heard the story of John I suggest you find it. Al Pacino called him the greatest actor he ever knew. He passed away of cancer and Meryl stood by him to the very end. He was the love of her life. Mucho respect for her as a person after I read the story.

Two I've seen recently:

Atomic Blonde - pretty good with a GREAT 1989-ish soundtrack!

GREAT Movie - Only the Brave

Default On The Basis of Sex

I just saw On The Basis of Sex.
Do not get carried away guys, it is a movie about Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her historic legal work.
I really liked this film.

I suggest Memento. It's a super film that really sucks you in scene to scene. Anyone else ever seen it?

Default A Star is Born

I just saw "A Star is Born". It is a wonderful movie, and Lady Gaga is awesome. My wife wanted to see it and I wasn't all that thrilled about going, but it was really good.

I'm looking forward to seeing Clint's new move, The Mule. Has anyone seen it yet?

Personally I thought Dunkirk was boring. The Darkest Hour was excellent.

My fav movie of all time is without question Inherit The Wind. It was remade a few different times, but the 1963 version with Spencer Tracy, Fredrick March, and Gene Kelly is by far the best version. Well worth the time to check it out.

Also, Clint's "Trouble with The Curve" was a very good movie and even better for a baseball fan.
