Wagner vs cobb vs ruth

I loved his t206s, e90, T3, CJ, and t227, etc. Then I discovered his rare PCs and got hooked.

Collecting Ruth is like collecting Superman; Cobb is the evil villain. I kind of like that. I’ve recently started to buy Wagner PCs. I don’t love Wagner’s standard cards because let’s face it: the dude was ugly. Also I find that a lot of the e-cards are artist’s renderings that don’t really resemble him (which could be a good thing considering how ugly that guy was). I do like some of his postcards, so I’ve bought a few of those. But Cobb is my guy for some of the reasons stated above. You obviously can’t go wrong with any of them.

I look at my ruth collection and it's almost exclusively black and white/sepia...as I have no goudeys....my cobbs are much more colorful!!!!

I own three Goudeys and a US Caramel, so I need some b/w

I do not own a single Cobb or Wagner at present. I would like to one day, but my next "big" card will probably be another Ruth

I collect all of 'The First Five' however, my pockets are not nearly as deep as some resulting in more Mattys and WaJos.

Ruth is the standard for pre-war, but Cobb and Honus are very collectible as well...I believe all three are excellent in terms of retained value.

But I love them all.
