I don't recall hearing about it either. I bought several 60's-70's Topps sets from him in the early 80's. Really great guy to deal with. As we say "he had the goods."

I like that saying. It reminds me of the old times. I think many times I like the old times better.

And a random F272-Unc, '41 Wheaties Dimaggio card...
