Is it possible to have more adventures on the basebath in one series of plays than Kinsler? Gets picked off but called safe, takes off on the very next pitch on a hit and run, overruns third and just manages to get back very awkwardly, then gets blown away by Bellinger trying to score on a short fly to center. He seemed determined to make an out.

A lot happened in the 18 inning game. I sat through the entire thing. Had no clue I had that kind of attention span.
I found it interesting that both teams scored their second runs due to bad throws to 1st base allowing the runner on 2nd to score. Hoping Roberts does not start Kershaw in game 5 and if so, at the first sign of unraveling, that Roberts does not stick with his "ace" and pulls him. Think we have all seen it before where it gets bad pretty fast when Kershaw does not show up.

Of course he's going to start game 5, why wouldn't he? Or are you thinking Roberts might start him in Game 4 on short rest.

Why? For the multitude of reasons you have expressed on several threads about Clayton. Kershaw is unpredictable and the Dodgers have to sweep 3 at home. Roberts would never do it but he should use Kershaw as a long reliever in game 5 (and game 7 if there is one). If not then he must keep him on a short leash since Dodgers' run production has been light. It does not take long to see if Kershaw is on his game or not. I would not leave him in to see if he can dig his way out.

Yes he has had post-season problems but you cannot not start Clayton Kershaw.

Might think I am nuts but I cannot help but wonder if the Dodgers would be better off using several guys for a couple of innings in lieu of a starter.
