Arrived today after “only” a 5 day delay in what the USPS originally said. It’s been awhile since I ventured this far into the 1970’s - but I love the design of this set...

I think that is my favorite design of the 70s. In fact, it is the only 70s set I have.

Got these this past weekend. Had the Mantle LL previously but traded it to the LCS. So I picked it up again this past weekend in a trade.

Love that Koufax. I've been after the 58 for a while, but have yet to find one that meets my standards for a price I'm willing to pay. Yours is a beauty with great centering.

Owing largely to nostalgia, this is probably my most favorite card of all time, so I wanted to get a really nice one...but I didn't want to pay $300+ for a straight 9, since it is such a widely available card. I negotiated with a seller and got it for $55, plus I was able to use the 15% off ebay coupon on top of that. The centering doesn't bother me much at all, as it looks entirely natural and doesn't even come close to bothering my eyes. Other PSA 9OC's (with relatively decent centering) usually sell for $100 (one that is almost kissing the bottom border is actually listed for $325 on ebay...and it's NOT Dean's!!), so I am very happy to add this guy...

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Doesn't look remotely OC to me. If it wasn't in that slab, I wouldn't even think about that aspect of the card. Good value.
