. My guess is Bobby Doerr, due to his long life, generous signing habits and demand. I was looking for his 1938 Goudey and 1939 Play Ball cards a while ago, and it was easier to find them signed than not.

I had a friend set up at a show way back in the day and he had a sign that said something like 'official baseballs NOT signed by Bob Feller available here'.

There is a Cuban player named Pedro Formental who was a legend in Cuba in the 1950’s. He signature is by no means common today but the werid thing is that about half the time a photo or postcard of him shows up for sale it’s signed. The guy must have signed every image of him in Cuba
