I just saw these the other week in the Archive, but it's great to get a face with the name.
I was actually looking for photos of the owners of the company in 1933. Goudey had stepped down by 1932 and by 1934, Leavy I believe was his name sold the company to start a brokerage firm. A guy named Bob Devlin took over and maintained Goudey from 1934 to at least 1941 -a photo of him would be quite nice. |
