Upgraded my ‘72 Lefty. I still think this is one of the most underrated cards of the 1970’s. The only card from his fabled 27-10 season to feature Carlton as a Phillie, and nice copies can easily be had for less than $50. Imagine if Nolan Ryan had a high-number “Traded” card from ‘72...

Soon to be included in my 1961 Topps for trade thread , I couldn't pass this Santo up. Man, qualifier or not, this high grade HOF rookie card is just the slightest hair off-center top to bottom. Looks pretty damn sweet to me...

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Overpaying yesterday is simply underpaying tomorrow.

That centering isn't bad at all! Great pick up on a razor sharp card!

I can't understand why that card has an "OC" qualifier. Looks outstanding to me and CERTAINLY not "OC". Very nice!

That is a beautiful card this OC qualifier is a joke. Using that standard their own example of a PSA 9 should carry an OC qualifier.

Love it. I never understood why they gave Fregosi that card but not Ryan.

Me, too. Apparently it was all because Fregosi was in the first series, so he was 'wrongly' pictured as an Angel, but Ryan came in the later series and Topps was able to picture him on his new team.

He did: Of course, at the time, he wasn't as big a star as the all-star shortstop he was traded for:

In fact, he wasn't even mentioned on the card back either:
