The two Jackie Robinson cards in your picture should not have been graded "A" by SGC. These mis-graded JRobby cards tell us that SGC is not really educated enough regarding these cards to grade them properly. In 1947, I pulled a number of these 1947 rounded corner cards from BOND BREAD packages which had "square" corners simply because the factory did not provide sufficient pressure on the die-cut machinery to shape that corner. The proof of this is the die-cut impression on that card's "square" corner. There are at least 4 (if not more) such mis-cut cards in my complete set of 48 cards. TED Z T206 Reference . |
