I have bought 50+ items since registering my resale #. This is the only order that I have been charged sales tax on. Thanks, Jeff W

Seller has nothing to do with taxes collected. I've also noticed the amount Ebay charges for sales tax seems too high. I just purchased an item today for $9.99 and was charged 91 cents tax. That's over 9%. My state's rate is 6%.???

Probably need to include shipping to get to your 91 cents.

Since PR is not a US state things must work a different way there.
