Aside from centering, the corners and everything else are pretty nice, so I decided to take a gamble that the ST designation was nothing to worry about, and sure enough, it's just a phantom. You would never in a million years know anything was there, but if you stare at it in blinding sunlight under a magnifying glass with the card tilted, you can just barely make out some thin film where a piece of gum resided atop the Mick back in the summer of the Miracle Mets. A quick swipe with the pantyhose and this transparent residue 'stain' would be non-existent...
