I have fond memories of the 1982 Kmart set because my dad brought me one home just out of the blue. I still have that very set in the same album pages.
Unrelated to Dad..... I have a complete Kmart set that is blanked back (minus a Thurman Munson). If anyone has one I would be interested. Last edited by frankhardy; 11-21-2019 at 10:05 PM.

I like how some of them proclaim "Limited Edition", meaning they weren't going to produce them forever.
I also have the same memories of the 1982 Kmart set. Seems like every trip we make to the 'Mart that summer, the stack of boxes would be a little bit smaller and the price cut in half. I think the last ones we picked up were $0.12 per set. And that was after buying a bunch at $0.25. Seems like the biggest market today is from the autograph forgers who use them as a cheap medium to peddle their worthless garbage. Thanks for the pictures of those sets. Good memories.
