A team called the Nisies played in Alberta Canada fro 1952-1958. No Wixons on the rosters I can find.

I think I have it solved. The person who originally sold me the jersey sent me some more information that really narrowed it down for me. I am just waiting for a reply from one more person before I call it a done deal. But I totally forgot today is a holiday, so I bet they will not get back to me before tomorrow. I must say, this is a whole genre of baseball I never really thought about until now. Thanks again everyone!
