Wow, too cool! I haven't seen several of these, BTW.

Default Spring training programs

I collect Orioles, so I don't have a ton of Reds related items, but here are a few Orioles/Reds spring training programs/scorecards.

The link to my original photo perished in the Photobucket hostage situation a few years ago. I just found it on my hard drive and thought I'd post it again because it's a unique piece of Reds memorabilia:

redsshelf.jpg

I gave a talk at the Newport, Kentucky (directly across the Ohio River from the Reds Stadium) library about early baseball in Northern Kentucky. A guy who I had previously met at one of my book signings came and gave me two pieces of Crosley Field as a gift - a brick and a piece of tile!

The brick is self explanatory, but the tile is kind of interesting. I've had people tell me it was from A) main entrance and B) the bathroom

I'm a big fan of the 1930's Reds and these two pieces now have an honored spot on one of the shelves in my studio, along side a Vander Meer signed ball.
