The Gehrig looks traced, if nothing else. Also, it looks like it was heavily used after all those signatures were written. If that provenance story is accurate, one would think the ball would've been better cared for than to let kids (or the family dog) play with it.
Not an autograph collector, just my 2 cents.

Does a PSA authentication mean anything anymore with items like this?
I had my doubts, but again have limited knowledge of autographs, balls, etc...once the PSA stamp of approval is given, not sure I can advise them otherwise without anything definitive. Anyway, thanks to those who chimed in...Rob
