Ooh, tough call there. Without Hal Smith's home run, they Yankees wouldn't have gone down in defeat, so I'm not sure that is incorrect.
Also its a bit unclear what the agent is in that sentence. Does it say that his homer sent the Yankees down in defeat, or that Game 7 sent the Yankees down in defeat?
