Ron it looks like a snow blizzard has swept across your Sweet Caporal. And your PSA Piedmont McQuillan...is it 150 or 350 Series?

I did some digging yesterday on this. It's not only because it's a 150 Piedmont. Something else must be going on. See https://www.ebay.com/itm/362344358025 as one example. (I also believe it's the same factory as mine, though I'm not at home now) In looking at some other examples, I'm starting to think it's more of a non-obvious registration and/or low blue ink issue. The 'concentration' of the white in the clouds and the blue of the sky is in the same area on both cards. It's just not as well 'defined' in the cloudy cloud version. |
