This is a clip from a 1909 Red Sox panoramic I have - I believe this is Speaker at the far left end - does that look right to folks?

I want to take a picture of the photo over my fireplace and post it. Seems Joe Wood & Tris Speaker did the trick of running while the panoramic was being taken and they appear twice in the line! I love that! That must be a heck of an '09 pano you got there! Can you share the whole thing, perhaps? Thank you! Phil

In the meantime, here is the Red Sox team portion of the panorama - I have it pinpointed to a mid-June 1909 series in which Speaker played in all of the games, so he should be in one of these shots. Which one is he?? |

To me that does look like him on the far left, and the stance of that player seems to fit Tris...not sure why.

Agreed Brian - that was my thought, though Phil disagreed. Happy to hear any other thoughts on it as well....

That is a really nice Speaker for the series. Very, very few like that.
