Back then, I dubbed it "Stick" Aaron!
This is an IP from the era Chuck refers to. Back then, I was quite disheartened that the card was an O-Pee-Chee. Fast forward over 30 years, and I'm grateful it is! Good luck finding another one. The demand might not be the same as it is for its Topps counterpart, but if you want one, you'll have to pay Hank $350 to sign it with his very different current signature variation. This one was free, thanks to his appearance at a Big Brothers benefit. The last name is sloppy: Stick signed the card as he held it in his hand while standing up. https://www.net54baseball.com/album....ictureid=28211 Last edited by BillyCoxDodgers3B; 04-09-2020 at 11:01 PM. |

I don't like the Aaron either but I wouldn't shred it. Could just be a bad authentic example. Certainly not an egregious forgery. The Mays is fine IMO.
