Great read ... thanks for sharing Jim. I knew the Giants trained in Marlin Springs for awhile. But I didn't remember how many other teams trained in Texas during the Deadball era. Thanks again for the linking to your article.

Thanks for posting the article. The tigers trained in 1911 here in Monroe, LA at Bernstein Park. From what I understand Cobb didn't attend. The field's grandstand was torn down in the early 80s or so, from what I'm told. I can't remember seeing it in person. Thanks for sharing. |
