12 of the 26 T206 cards I've picked up this month, this is the most T206 I've ever bought in a month?

THAT is pretty cool.

He must have been getting a lot of letters in regards to the scandal to have created a "form" response.

Steve,

Real nice pickup on the Blue backed Croft's.

Like DJ said, the blue really stands out on that scan of the card as opposed to the original listing.

Thanks, guys. I agree, I got lucky with the eye appeal on this one. I needed the card for one of my many unfinished projects, so the condition is a bonus...

Currently looking for a new T206 Cobb and a low grade N28 or N172, but even if I snag them, the T207 Grover Hartley Anonymous back will be my big pickup this month, and on of the biggest pickups I'll have this year.

Grover Hartley was the manager of the Findlay Oilers (Ohio State League - minors) in 1939 & 1940. My great uncle played for the Oilers in 1939, and my grandpa played for them in 1940. I have my grandpa's original team photo (with Hartley in it), contract, and last ball he pitched (1940). My goal is to put those items in a display with all of Hartley's cards (according to Trading Card Database, I'm only missing his 1916 Boston Store, Weil Baking Co., and Standard Biscuit). The Anonymous back T207 completed his trio of T207s. Thrilled to have these together!

I have also had quite the month when it comes to knocking out some of my Hall of Fame project.

I created a separate thread about picking this card up here - http://https://net54baseball.com/sho...d.php?t=282292

But thought I would share the picture here in the pick up thread anyway.

You’re welcome! Can’t wait to see how your HOF collection looks once complete (or near complete). I’m still sorta working on mine after 20+ years!

I'm sure that card peaks to a lot of people! I'm no longer into cards that much and this one speaks to me too.

Impulse buy. Surprised the bid held up, but a fun addition for a playing era Babe that didn't set me back a house payment. Or even a car payment.

Nice Shonen Ruth, definitely a great way to get an attractive playing days Ruth for a cheaper price!

Nice Cobb/Jennings!

Default Upgraded my Hank Gowdy T207

Excited to upgrade my Gowdy T207. It's one of the tougher Recruit back T207s. Have one from each of the two Recruit factories now.
