eBay seller: JKAYMAC - 1920's - 1950's Baseball HOF Wire Photos - closing May 5 & 12
Hi,
They would be considered Type I photos, when the image & the paper caption are capturing a recent event at the time, ie Joe DiMaggio seen here getting a hit in yesterday's spring training game against the Tigers. Now if you have an image of Ruth in his Red Sox uniform, and the wire photo is from 1935, and the caption says here's an image of the Bambino from 20 years ago, it would be a vintage photo, but not Type I. Also, any collage style photos are not considered Type I by PSA's standards. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions. Regards, Bryan Dec
