What is the story behind that Wagner getting a "MC" designation?

Are the Luis Robert rookies still going strong?

I would want to guess T206 Wagner, but I guess you never know with the way the modern stuff sells. Rob

Most valuable card? Probably some Diamond Rainbow Purple Super-duper Refractor card of Mike Trout (#'ed /5).

Default I thought

that Goldin was soon going to auction off a Trout Superfractor RC that is expected to be the highest price ever paid for a baseball card-

Vegas Dave said that he would sell his Trout Superfractor for 5 million, not that it would sell for that. So it is not Trout, at least right now.

I thought Vegas Dave consigned that card to Goldin's summer auction? Definitely won't be a $5 million card, but given that a #/5 red refractor sold for $922,500, the superfractor should go significantly higher.

Especially now with baseball season [maybe] starting

For the uninitiated, what is the difference between a refractor and a superrefractor?

It is superfractor, not superrefractor. It just has a different pattern. Topps has also made atomic refractors, xfractors and different color refractors to get collectors to buy their products. The 2009 Bowman Chrome Mike Trout Superfractor is his ultimate card. 2009 was his first card. The Superfractor only has one copy made.
