1955 Topps Dobleheaders
One of my favorite sets from the 1950's is the 1955 Topps Doubleheader set. Each card pictures two different players. The cards are perforated in the middle. One player is pictured while folded and another player when the card is unfolded. Both players share the bottom part of the card. I love the colors and design of the set. One really cool fact is, if you place the unfolded cards side by side, they form several continuous stadium backgrounds. I don't have the complete set, but here's a photo I found to illustrate the stadium backgrounds.
55dh-all2.jpg The set contains seven Orioles. Five players are shown while folded and two while unfolded. My only complaint is that I wish all the Orioles were pictured while unfolded.
