I hate seeing this thread work it’s way down the page, so here are my pennants from the under appreciated Boston Braves:

Greg, the album isn't coming up for me.... not sure whether something went wrong, or perhaps it's my computer.
Eager to see the Braves collection but (while waiting) here's a rare Milwaukee Braves that I picked up recently. Rare might be an understatement, as this is the first and only one I've ever seen. Of course now that I said that, I bet there's one already sitting in Greg's collection (which I can't see )

Mark that’s awesome! I saw that just go up on eBay. A rare one with two colored tassels. And no I don’t have it, never saw it before either. Congrats.
I’ll try to figure out what the deal is with the link. I think I have to create the album in a laptop first ... Last edited by thetahat; 06-28-2020 at 11:30 PM. |

Phenomenal Greg...
Some very rare ones there, and love them all. Especially the top two in the first column. Great stuff! |

It was one of those situations where the underbidder drove up the price way higher in the last 5 seconds with his snipe. I have a suspicion about who it was, but also believe they would've gone higher and won it, had they really wanted it. Either way... very happy to get it, as it's almost impossible to find new ones these days (especially on eBay). |

Another vintage pennant photo. Colt 45's with Nellie Fox.

Next up … the Buccos, as Harry Kalas used to call them.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/1HeYsWNrKPgc3JnB7 Nothing special besides maybe the scroll pennants. Interesting to note that the first two scrolls are Trench from 1949 and 1950, they aren't dated but I looked up the roster. The Boston Braves scroll pennants I have are from 1949 and 1950 and *are* dated. I think it for the simple reason that there was room for the year. Wondering if for those two years there were scrolls for most/all teams. Aside from those I think they were exclusive to postseason teams? Last edited by thetahat; 06-30-2020 at 05:30 PM. |

Obtained this 26” Cubs pennant which I rarely see. I’m guessing the 1930s but would love to hear from the experts with their opinions.

Nice Mike!
I used to have a red one. Tried many times to trade with Mike H, but he just despised this one, calling the Cub a bug-eyed raccoon. We laughed about it a lot, and every time we were getting close on a trade, I offered to throw it in (knowing he would never take it). I like it though, and think late 30s - early 40s is about the best we can pin it down. Nice pickup of a very rare variation! Last edited by perezfan; 07-06-2020 at 03:28 PM. |

Mike that’s a cool pennant. I’ve only seen it once before, white print only on red felt. Yours is a beauty!
