On July 7, 1979 I married my high school sweetheart. She certainly deserves thanks for putting up with me all these years and my collection taking over a good part of her house.

I'll have to look it up (unless someone here knows it) but I believe Brooks hit a milestone HR (a walk off perhaps?) on this date too!

When I was a kid, I remember the only Oriole player I shared a birthday with was infielder Tim Nordbrook....I'm not sure if that's still the case but here is a mid 1970's signed game used bat of his (I told him we shared a birthday when he signed it at a FanFest years ago lol).

I know Brooks hit a grand slam in the 10th to beat the Yanks on this day in 1970.
