Thanks John. The work he did was amazing - decades of autograph collecting with a lot of the vintage signed cards signed in the 1940s-1960s. We are glad the story about the person behind the collection got out, as he was just a blue collar WW2 vet who loved baseball and spent his life collecting without anyone really knowing what he had accumulated. The collection is beyond amazing and we knew this specific auction would peak some interests (we had to wait for all of the signed cards and Type 1 photos to get graded). By the way, the 1933-34 Goudey cards look much better than most of the grades - the colors and corners are typically in near pack-fresh condition! To hold the cards prior to grading was awesome - as they seemed like they were printed last week - they really were never exposed to sunlight or much air/oxygen. It should be a fun auction!
