Been collecting mainly signed cards for the past 5-6 years, but with prices exploding and the current inability to consign items I've added very little since the pandemic. Looking for a project to pass the time I've noticed SGC 9.5 modern Flagship rookies go for about a 1/3 of PSA 10 examples (or even less) and to me there is really no difference so why not....

I was able to pick up all four of these this week for less than the price of the Tatis alone in PSA 10. Does that make me like a half-sheep?

I would bet those SGC 9.5's are just as good, and likely better than those PSA 10's.

Nice P/U's.
Congrats.

Decided to pick up this one, a Cavan Biggio signed Bowman's Best RC 35/150.
I really like this kid despite him not getting the attention of Bichette and Vlady.

I love the look of cards in SGC holders. And to be honest, there probably isn't much difference in PSA and SGC grades except for price. In fact, I'm thinking about starting to get some of my vintage star cards graded (I've never had any cards graded). But I'm thinking about doing SGC because I like the look of them so much.

Not really new pickups but newly rediscovered, I got around to looking through some boxes of cards/sets I had squirreled away a few years back and came across these raw cards. The Finest is nice and the marks are from the penny sleeve it is in...

It’s always good when you find a house payment squirreled away in a monster box. Great find Rhett.

I have just returned to the hobby after a 13 year break. I was a big Griffey collector and found so many great cards. Just got this today. My first card to for my personal collection in a very long time. Can’t wait to talk cards again.

Adam! It seems like we still have the same taste in cards. Nice Griffey!

I am trying to finish my last set I was working on when I stopped collection and have been making good progress on the master 2006 Topps Heritage set will all inserts.

Anyways happy to be collection again because God know I can use a hobby!

All the best in cards!
