Carlton, you have the most photographed pickup truck bed in the hobby. And oh-by-the-way, that's a great rowing photo as well. Congrats my friend for another great find.

Although not really vintage (2009), from what I've learned these have an interesting back story and are pretty scarce. I picked up the pair at an estate auction, but only one had the box and extra 'goodies'.

Until yesterday, I hadn't been to an antique store in a very long time. Well, I'm glad I went because I was able to pick up some nice display items. I picked up this Luke Sewell store model catcher's mit. The Henry Aaron bat measures about 30 in. long, and the mask will also make a nice display piece.

I always said I wouldn't do this because Gene Clines inevitably will lead to Roberto Clemente and I cannot afford that price tag or the subsequent divorce. Nonetheless, this Gene Clines gamer was far to cheap to pass up. I have no idea who Bob was but he certainly made the bat affordable by having it personalized.

I wonder if you could get Bob off the bat...

Rob, I may try to remove Bob with hair spray. Meanwhile I picked up a pair of stubs to Bob Moose's no hitter.

Nice pick-up Carlton. Who knew rowers were rock stars in 1871? These guys were probably more famous than the Red Stockings baseball club at the time.

Very nice, Guy....

Tough to find good images of Perez as an Expo. I love the image with the road blue uniform, and especially the Ticket. Tremendous combo, and a very attractive display piece.

Great post!
