Money is no object-- buy them all! Then you don't have to pick!

Hard not to love T206 or OJs.

Money has always been an object for me, but even so, look at what you can end up with...a bunch of maniacally smiling faces!

I'll follow Adam's template above -

Baseball (Pre-War) - 1914 CJ
Baseball (Post-War) - 1954 Topps
Modern - 1978 Topps (when I was young, this was vintage to me)
Boxing - 1948 Leaf
Basketball - 1986 Fleer
Football - 1957 Topps
Hockey - 1951 Parkhurst
Non-Sport - 1940 Superman

If money was entirely no object, being that I'm not picky at all....

I'd go for something VERY simple, like multiples of every set ever issued for every sport throughout the entire history of the world, all in stunning high grade - the best examples known and available, all displayed in a multi, multi-acre museum-quality setting.

This would include living players posing by displays of their cards, complete stadiums purchased, dismantled and reassembled on-site, and the DNA of past legendary stars gathered - where possible, to clone a modern super athlete who would serve as both display demonstrator and customer service greeter.

....If this isn't possible, I'd probably just move on then, as it would allow for more productive things than baseball card collecting.
