Thank you John! I have had some luck in FL but nothing compared to up here. I am amazed at what comes out at flea markets and antique shops still. In the past two weeks I have purchased an 1843 book with a small section on baseball, an 1856 full year Yankee Clipper newspaper bound volume (with plenty of baseball content), a cigar box with Buck Ewing, Buffalo Bill, and other notables, and a salesman sample Reach mini mushroom bat. About a month ago I purchased an 1871 trophy ball from a different Vermont antique shop. I have built more than 90% of my collection from antique shopping.
