Default How Long Until...

The card companies start cutting up the COVID-19 PPE masks that players and coaches have worn in various sports, and make 'game used' artifact cards out of them??

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

I hadn't thought of that, but it wouldn't surprise me. If it had the team logo and was in the team colors then it would be a bit easier to accept.

Forget about cutting them up and using them in relic cards... I wonder if the game-worn masks themselves, authenticated (and sanitized), would be collectible. I mean, of course they would be, but is it something collectors would want?

Considering there's collectors that go after signed Jockstraps nothing would surprise me.

After slabbing such memorabilia cards, PSA and SGC would highlight again how "airtight" their slabs were so as not to risk passing infection...
