It's funny that some rooms resemble museums (those of Brendan, Bob, Tony, Frank, etc.) and others (like mine) look more like flea markets.

I'm typically holed up on the pennant thread but since I just added another wall I figure it's time for an update here. (Also I am filling in gaps with mini pennants.)

That's just astounding. Do you know when the turnstile and ticket box were in use?

Mark the turnstile is definitely from 1909. I’m not sure if the ticket box, it could be 1909 or later.

Love the turnstile and the jerseys. Looks like a stadium museum display.

Default Finally...

After selling our last house, then moving into an apartment a couple years ago for about 18 months while building our new house, we finally settled into the new place last year. My wife insisted that I have my own 'sports room' and I decided not to argue with her. I strived to keep it somewhat simple and I wanted some old front load display/china cabinets for the added antique feel when displaying my stuff. I still have a few empty spots on the walls, but it's pretty close to being finished......for now.

Always utterly shocked when I see hockey items on this forum, especially antique examples.
I'd love to know more about the mounted stick on the wall.... are there any maker's marks or stamps?

Love the two AAGPBL Pennants! So rare, and the condition of both looks phenomenal. And those vintage wood display cabinets are killers. Such a classy and dignified look to those displays! If you could give us a closer look at what's inside, that would be phenomenal.

Great stuff!

Fantastic room! After moving from Vegas to SLC in 2010. I spent about 8 hours a day, for a week, putting my new "room" together.
