The op seems extremely angry about this and it is getting very ugly. I didn’t see anyone being intentionally mean, I saw people who didn’t understand the post. I don’t see a woman with Down’s syndrome - I see an extremely popular and widely used photo of an old woman who is affectionately referred to as the “Wat Grandma”. Implying she had downs could be taken as offensive.
A free and better card to replace has been generously offered. I’m just wondering, what is the op trying to accomplish? What would you like to see done? After all, we are in the middle of a global pandemic where people are dying and losing their jobs. it’s just a card. Let’s be thankful for what we have. Happy holidays to all.

to do with any card or purpose dont want any thing free. but after finding out truth this forum and after bieng dismissed. I prefer not to engage any further busines here dont care if u have for sale a t206 honud wagner for $5 or $5 miilion. Different point of view
Everyone is looking at the buyer how about looking at the seller also. Maybe the seller was looking for a way to not sell the card for the winning bid. Granted it is very poor but it is a 52 high number and a Yankees card. Could it be possible that he thought $20 was to low to let it go?
I do think it’s blown out of proportion that the card is coming from Canada and if you send money out of the country I’m always charged a fee even if it’s F&F but it can’t be very much for $20. Assuming the upset part comes from it really was needed in a certain time frame which probably wasn’t going to happen coming from Canada. For me I could care less if I get a card from Canada in a month or two days from in the US. It will come and I will get it and will make no difference in the long term. To me I would like to know why I got a refund if I never asked for it? Rick
