I've seen his cards on Ebay. I figured that label was a scam. I'm betting an original 52 Mantle will never be found fairly cheap on Ebay. Heck, some of the reprints aren't even cheap.
 I'm amazed at what some of the obvious reprints go for on there. The auctions with the found at an estate sale, have no knowledge but selling as a reprint kind of description.

Being 'extremely lucky' with that card (if it was real) on eBay would be only paying $20k for it.

That card is why I for one won't even attempt to collect 52 Topps. When a cardboard, easily faked if you do it right I might add, baseball card sells for more than what my house is worth (in the good part of Fort Myers, and with a heated pool), then I fold. I am not one of the beautiful people.
