These were all original owner cards and obtained before the trimming and grading craze. I have no concerns about these cards.

Lol. Maybe. So much talk of trimmed cards on here my mind naturally went to that.

Beautiful collection. Really nice colors. Most would be worried about them in those screwdown holders, since they've been known to press cards flatter or moisture will get in and some cards will stick to the holder when they are taken apart.

Love those early tobacco cards. You have a nice collection as well. The 70s were the good old days of collecting at least for me.

Thanks. When I read that here I checked mine and so far no issues. Some had been in those for over 25 years. I’ve always been mindful of how they have been stored so that probably helped out.

If that's the case, you're probably best off removing them from those screwdown cases and putting them in Cardsavers or penny sleeves and toploaders.

Great cards but the first thing I thought of was the screw downs as well. I haven’t seen that many screw down in one place since circa 1996.
