I don't know much about WWG cards, but isn't that a 1933?

Here is a great article by a Net54 member that gives the best rundown I have encountered on the what and the why of the 1933 and 1934 World Wide Gum issues, and how they correspond to the Goudey issues of the same years:

I believe the WWG cards come with a 100% English reverse as well as the bilingual, more common variety. I hold the same WWG Ruth pose as you graded in a SGC 50; it is one of the cornerstones of my Ruth card collection.

Guys, thank you for the kind words! I am a tad intimidated posting here about vintage because I've only been a true connoisseur of vintage cardboard for the past couple of years, whereas many of you all have been at it for decades. Some for before I was born! There are issues that I don't even know about that you all have been pursuing since before Canseco was even a rookie. I truly appreciate you all.

I haven't conversed with him in years, but I am friends with some of his friends, so I'm able to keep in touch that way. I'm able to hear word about how he enjoys my work, so that's fun Quote:

Thank you, Gary! The owner of the beautiful 2.5 reached out to me via email a couple days ago. It is always neat to be able to know where the others you didn't pull the trigger on went.
Last night, I had a dream (nightmare?!) that I sold my Kelly and kept asking myself why over and over again. I formulated a plan to reach out to the owner of the 2.5, and then woke up to the realization it was just a dream. PHEW!
