Otis and Jay
You guys are the smart ones. I'd bet anyone, that you guys could go thru the entire 1st Series cards (80 pairs),
and tell us which colors the backs are printed with, without flipping over the cards.

Default 1952 TOPPS cards

Hey Guys,

Meet my nearby-neighbor..... "The Scooter".

Phil's home was 2-blocks from our home in Hillside, NJ. Phil was a really great neighbor, he would join us kids when we were playing BB
at the ball field at St. Catherine's School back in the 1940's - 1950's.
He would pitch to us, give us advice on how to play the game, plus tell us stories about any Ballplayers, which we would ask him about.
It was a tremendous joy to have Phil with us.
