Not sure if this one counts, but what the heck...
I knew there was a really old Clemente card hidden away in a pile of superstars that I had in awful shape, and in my mind I always thought it was his 1956 card...but when I found myself looking through the stack for the first time in many years BOOM!! it turned out to be his 1955 rookie card. That was quite a surprise. The awfulness didn't change when I had it graded, but it's just cool to have one without spending a boatload of money on it. 1955clemente164PSA1.jpg
