According to a post on Blowout by the guy who first posted, he contacted Rick Probstein to notify him before his posts and Rick responded.

So Rick was aware of the shilling in his auction and did nothing to stop it, after being directly notified. No cancellations of the auctions, no cancellations of the seller bids, nothing.
